Courtney Walker is a school librarian in Plano ISD, where she was named the 2022 Plano ISD District Elementary Teacher of the Year. Walker wrote the official Educator and Librarian Guide for the book Hope Wins: A Collection of Inspiring Stories for Young Readers (2023). She is known for her innovative adapted book library collections and her commitment to inclusivity for all students, with particular emphasis on students with severe medical and/or cognitive disabilities.
