Ellen Deitz Tucker

Ellen Deitz Tucker has a Ph.D. in American and English literature. She spent sixteen years talking with teachers of history and government, visiting their classrooms, and writing stories about their work. Today, working with her husband David Tucker, she writes about American education, history and culture at the website Peoria Project (peoriaproject.org) and the Substack newsletter, Learning Self-Government.
