Katie Young is Assistant Professor of Cultural Geography in the School of Irish Studies at Concordia University. Her research examines experiences of music, sound, and listening practices in everyday spaces, including as they relate to gender and sexuality in diverse regional contexts. She is co-principal investigator on Beyond Opposition.
