Milosz Stelmach is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Audiovisual Arts, Jagiellonian University, Poland. Additionally, he is a film scholar and critic, Editor-in-Chief of the film journal Ekrany, Principal Investigator in a project financed by Poland’s National Science Centre within the program ETIUDA (2017), and holder of scholarships from the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF, 2014 and 2015) and the Polish Film Institute (2017). His academic work is concerned with cinematic modernism and the contemporary art cinema’s transformations.
