Valentina Pricopie is conducting research at the Institute of Sociology, Romania, focusing on three main pillars: (a) media transformation, media events & newspaper journalism; (b) communication policy, the idea of Europe, the East-West divide in Europe, discourse and counter-discourse related to Europe; and (c) discourse of propaganda, mystification and confiscated memory during communism.
