Ashley Scarlett is Assistant Professor of Media Studies at the Alberta University of the Arts, Canada. Her research explores intersections between creative practice and contemporary media cultures. Her writing has recently appeared in the journals, Parallax, Media Theory, Photographies, and Afterimage.
