Biography
Phil Zuckerman is an associate dean and professor of Sociology and Secular Studies at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. He is also a regular affiliated professor at Claremont Graduate University, and he has been a guest professor for two years at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Zuckerman is the author of several books, including What It Means to be Moral (Counterpoint, 2019), The Nonreligious (Oxford, 2016), Living the Secular Life (Penguin, 2014), and Faith No More (Oxford, 2011). He has also edited several volumes, including The Oxford Companion to Secularism (2017) and Beyond Religion (Macmillan, 2016). Several of his books have been translated into such languages as Danish, Farsi, Turkish, Chinese, Korean, and Italian.
