Abigail L. Phillips, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. She earned her PhD in information studies in the School of Information at Florida State University in 2016. Before entering academia, Dr. Phillips served as a librarian in a small, rural public library system in Southwest Georgia. She co-edited Reconceptualizing Libraries: Perspectives from the Information and Learning Sciences with Dr. Victor Lee in 2018.
