Kristiina Mannermaa is Professor of Archaeology at the University of Helsinki, Finland. She is leads the ERC-funded project called Animals Make Identities (2020-2026), focusing on prehistoric human-animal relationships based on Late Mesolithic burials in Northern Europe.
