Jacob Gallagher-Ross is Associate Professor and Chair of English and Drama at the University of Toronto, Mississauga, Canada, and a graduate faculty member at the Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies, University of Toronto. He is the author of Theaters of the Everyday (2018), and his essays and articles have appeared in Modern Drama, Theatre Survey, TDR, PAJ, Theater, Theatreforum, Contemporary Theatre Review, Canadian Theatre Review, Miranda, RACAR, Opera News, and the Brooklyn Rail. He served as a theatre critic for the Village Voice from 2009 to 2016.
