Peter Orford is Senior Lecturer and Course Director of the MA in Charles Dickens Studies at the University of Buckingham, UK. He is author of The Life of the Author: Charles Dickens, and editor of (with Emily Bell and Claire Wood) Digital Dickens (2025), (with Emily Hofer-Robinson) The Plays of Charles Dickens (2025) and has had chapters published in Dickens and Decadence (ed. Giles Whitely and Jonathan Foster, 2025), The Edinburgh Companion to Dickens and the Arts (ed. Juliet John and Claire Wood, 2024) and A Companion to Charles Dickens, 2nd edition (ed. by David Paroissien and Leon Litvack, forthcoming). He is also editor of the critical editions of Dicken's Dombey and Son (forthcoming) and Pictures from Italy (2025).
